Every guide on USA Tech Deals is written and checked by one editor, Afraz Alam. Mistakes still happen: a specification changes, a product is discontinued, a price moves, or a sentence is simply wrong. This page explains how to tell us and what we do about it.
How to report an error
Email info@usatechdeals.com or use the contact form. Tell us the page, the sentence or number that is wrong, and, if you have one, a link to the source that shows the correct information. Anyone can report an error; you do not need to be a subscriber.
What happens next
- We read every report and check it against the original source (the manufacturer page, the standard, the government publication or our own measurements).
- If the report is right, we fix the page. The “Updated” date under the title changes to the day of the fix.
- A correction that changes the meaning of a guide, for example a wrong measurement, a wrong tax rule or a product recommendation that no longer holds, gets a short note on the page that says what changed.
- Typos, broken links and formatting problems are fixed without a note.
- If a report turns out to be wrong, we reply and explain why the page stays as it is.
Prices, availability and products
Prices and availability change daily. Where a guide shows a price, it also shows the date it was checked. We do not pull prices live. If a product is discontinued or a better option appears, the guide is revised rather than left to age. See How We Research for how picks are chosen.
What we do not change
We do not remove or soften honest criticism of a product because a company asks. We do not accept payment to change a guide. Our Editorial Guidelines and Affiliate Disclosure explain how the site stays independent.
