Needed to replace a damaged router asap. Shipping was super fast. Set up was a breeze. My devices easily recognized the router. Signal is strong although I do need an extender to reach the far side of my house. This is an overall solid router and the price was right.

I had no issues connecting it to the spectrum modem. Works well.

I added 2 Wyze cams to my existing setup with the ATT fiber router. After this it would bump 2 cameras offline constantly. I assumed it was the ATT router being maxed out by too many devices, and cutting bandwidth due to the 2k video streaming. This router fixed my issues and gave me even more room to grow! Very happy.

I ordered this unit after my previous router was damaged by a lightning strike. I was able to have it delivered the same day, which was very helpful in getting back on the Internet quickly. I prefer to choose my own settings and this unit has all the options I need. Coverage is excellent throughout my home. I was able to customize the wireless settings to reduce the power from maximum to medium and still get 5 bar coverage. With the lowest power setting, reception was 4-5 bars spots so I left it at the medium setting. Overall, I’m very satisfied with it.

I bought and installed this wifi router at my brother’s house. It was easy to set up, and seems to work fine. They use it for internet access and streaming movies. So far, very happy with it.

I just installed this router yesterday. It works much better than the one provided by Spectrum so far and the speeds are great. Don’t waste $7 a month renting their equipment. Just get one of these.

I switched to TP-Link Archer A8 model mainly because I was getting a barely there signal at one end of our home, and the speeds were not what our ISP said we should be getting. As I never rent equipment from my ISP I had to do some research on what would be the best router and this model had great reviews and the right specs. I bought it nearly 2 years ago and have had no problems until today after I upgraded my modem from a DOCSIS 3.0 model to a DOCSIS 3.1 model, I couldn’t get the router to connect. I contacted TP-Link chat support and got ‘Rommel’, and they took care of me in less than 1 minute. Mind you I had been trying to troubleshoot for an hour and a half before I decided to ask for help. So, if something isn’t working with the router immediately contact them to help you. Turns out I needed to disconnect the coaxial on my modem when I did the reset, that resolved the issue. Very pleased with this device and extremely happy with their support.

I got this router to use with spectrum and I had quite the journey setting it all up – not at the fault of this router at all! I was sent multiple faulty modems by my internet provider which led me to having to reach out to both them and the TP-Link costumer service multiple times and working with TP-Link costumer service was LEAPS and BOUNDS better than my internet provider. Took some time but we figured everything out and my TP-Link customer service rep even reached out via email to confirm everything was working. Really great and recommend this brand to anyone working with spectrum!

The router is great for my one bedroom apartment. I live alone so multiple devices are not a drain. Good price.
