I purchased this for a 1,200 square foot apartment and it works exceptionally well. Setup was a breeze with the app, and I was able to set security settings within minutes. While I have some working knowledge of setting up networks and security, this was simple such that the layperson can easily get this up and running without issue. TP Link is a great brand, and this router is yet another example of that. Signal strength is excellent and it has the option of setting up a mesh network if you need more coverage. I have multiple devices connected and am streaming without issue. For the price, you will not find a better value.

I recently upgraded to the TP-Link AC1200 Gigabit WiFi Router, and I’m thrilled with its performance. Setting it up was a breeze—within minutes, I had it connected and running smoothly. The router’s signal strength is impressive, providing strong, reliable WiFi throughout my home. One of the best features is its ability to handle multiple devices without any lag or drop in speed. Whether it’s streaming movies, gaming online, or working from home, the AC1200 keeps everything connected seamlessly. I no longer experience dead spots or interrupted connections, even with several devices connected simultaneously. The design is sleek and fits well with my home decor. The router’s interface is user-friendly, allowing me to customize settings and monitor performance effortlessly. Overall, the TP-Link AC1200 Gigabit WiFi Router is a fantastic choice for anyone looking for fast, reliable WiFi with easy setup and excellent coverage. Highly recommended!

After finding a surprise 7 dollar wifi charge on my bill, I got this. I was given a WiFi promo which waived the charge for a year, but never was it communicated when I set the service up that I had to sign up for Spectrum Mobile to keep the discount. Classic Spectrum. I worked for Spectrum’s Internet support so I can tell you from experience that their routers are junk. Always experienced calls where the router randomly kicks the bucket and shows a red light after multiple reboots and endless troubleshooting with the customer. Also would get lots of calls when the router would allow you to connect to the network but doesn’t allow Internet access. You also never know what you’re getting model wise, and the routers are used. It’s a gamble. You may get a new one, you may get an old model, you never know. I’ve been through 3 Spectrum routers (because of moving), and all of them had the same issues I described. Semi regularly I’d have to factory reset the router because it was doing the thing where it allowed you to connect to the network but provided no Internet access. My last one also looked quite beaten up. I swear they don’t even try to refurbish them.Review of TP Link router: Setup is so dumbed down and simple anyone can do it. Love the Tether app. So far providing stable connection and speed is on par if not better than Spectrum router! 108.5 mbps download picture is the Spectrum router when next to it on wireless connection. There was a slight jump with the TP Link! That could have been just because tests can vary, but still encouraging! I previously got a TP Link A54 a few months ago and returned it cause it was giving me speeds under 100 mbps (my plan is 100 mbps). Pay the extra 15 bucks and get this one! Also, in my bedroom with the doors closed, my signal is still almost full strength and the speed still is only a few mbps shy of what I was getting next to the router! I hope this lasts but I bought tp link repeaters for my parents over 5 years ago and they are still working without a hitch. They seem like a quality brand.

Great product, even has a DNS hosting service that allows you to setup port forwarding and get a global DNS lookup without needing to manage it yourself.Data rates are great.Product works out of the box. Easy setup.

After my previous Wi-Fi router died as a result of a lightning strike, I decided to keep a backup on hand. I bought this unit for that purpose, although it has even better performance than the one I am currently using (also obtained from Amazon). I may switch over to it in the future. I prefer to customize the settings to my preference, and this unit has plenty of advanced options. It provides 5 bar coverage throughout my home and does everything I need. I am very satisfied with it.

I have had my Archer6 for over 2 years and I had to send a note of grateful thanks to Mark.Dalmacio a customer rep that solved my problem (I am officially an Idiot!). Not only did TP-Link help guide a 71 year old off the ledge, and the router is of course way out of warranty – but to their credit, they still provided 5-Star customer service by a HUMAN! It was a simple fix, but way beyond 21st Century customer service of today!Thank you very much! You restored my faith in customer service once again. Thumbs UP! BUY THEIR PRODUCTS as they stand behind them.James in Florida

I’ve had no problems with this router the setup was insanely easy plug and Play basically. Definitely made the loading on my streaming faster hangs up easily also so you don’t have to waste any tablespace if you’re watching movies and things like that this is a great router for you

Bought and switched to this when the new Spectrum Advance Wifi 6E router was just giving me too much lag due to congestion of all the networks without allowing me to split between 5ghz and 2.4.However, after switching to this one I experience zero issues. The setup was easy and although their was a orange light for internet connection. I simply disconnected my modem and plugged it back in and the signal was recognize and turn green. Spectrum has no control over personal routers as per my chat with them. All you can do is on the customers end (cause it’s not theirs).Immediately updated the router to latest firmware and all still seems good. Will update when the time comes but you can’t beat a $40 router to a $7/month lease equipment with horrible lag and no control over basic settings.

The range is great! Its easy to setup and the interface of tether and on web is quite intuitive and easy to understand. We have not encountered any issues as of now and everything seems to be going great with the router.
