Works great and easy to use. saved us a bunch of money by being able to diagnose small issues that the dealer would charge a lot of money for.Diagnosed small issue that the dealer would have charged over couple of hundred dollars. By using this we found the code and basically removed and replaced the part easily for $20.00 in 15 minutes.

I couldn’t be happier. This reads my codes. Erases any stupid codes. Gives you all kinds of info. I got tired of having to go to AutoZone or the like every time the check engine light came on. Now I can check it and erase. Plugs right in. Cord is plenty long. Easy to read and navigate. And it was less than $18 bucks shipped and arrived in one day. You literally cannot beat that. America has many many issues. But getting what you want/need cheaply and fast is definitely not one of them.

I think this was a great purchase for the price and has not given me any issues so far. The performance is great and have had no problems on that end. I think the compatibility also works well I have already used it on several cars. It’s very easy to read and to see. The port use to connect is easy to use and easy to set up. The size is just right so that the reader is not in the way. Overall was a great purchase!

Very happy with this purchase. Have used several times so far while trying to diagnose a couple errors as well as check on the monitors to evaluate when all monitors are working and vehicle is ready for emissions testing. Bought this to replace a cheaper blue tooth device and very happy the ease of use and capabilities.

This is one of my better purchases in the past few months. I was fully prepared to pay a mechanic $100 or more to look at, and fix, my car after the check engine light came on. My wife suggested buying this code reader instead, before going to the mechanic; and it was the right choice. Turns out the problem was just the hood was reading unlatched or problem with wiring. Simple fix. I am glad I didn’t waste time and money and trust that the mechanic was being honest with me. Good purchase. Good price. And peace of mind.

Got this because a stupid sensor keeps turning on my check engine light. Then threw up a code saying my catalytic converter is not running efficiently. Well I got it replaced and it still throws up the code every once in a while. Been to 4 different shops no one knows why but this affordable little diagnostic tool works great Clearing codes picking up codes that may be coming. Also a ton more system checks to keep you safe and on the road!

I have a 2013 Toyota Prius V, and the check engine light came on. It was NOT flashing. I got this scanner so I could read the code. P0441 ‘Evaporative Emission System Incorrect Purge Flow’. But there are lots of causes for that code. Once again it was a loose gas cap. I tightened the cap and then had to drive 30 miles (exactly 30) for the check engine light to go off. Until recently we couldn’t pump our own gas in Oregon. Service stations are still required to have attendants on duty so they almost always pump the gas. For 40 years before moving here I pumped my own gas before I moved to Oregon and i never left the gas cap off (happened once here) or loose (3 times now).By-the-way. The Prius doesn’t have a key. Just a fob. So you need to touch the Start button TWICE without stepping on the brake to get the scanner to connect to the car. The instructions didn’t explain that you need to touch Start TWICE. It does explain that you must NOT start the engine.

This was a great purchase because I got tired of going to auto zone so they could read the codes that come on in my car when the check engine light comes on. Also I can look them up on my own so I can better educate myself so that I know a little bit about what’s going on with my car when I take it to the mechanic so I don’t get screwed over

Engine of my 2009 Ford Focus with 172000 miles started shuddering. Check engine light came on. Fuel injector failure suspected as I had recently installed new spark plugs. I could not drive the car to AutoZone or O’Reilly’s to have the code read. Bought Motopower obd II code reader. Easy to operate. Just plug in, turn the key to on position ( don’t start the engine), it starts downloading the data in seconds. In my case it was cylinder 3 misfire, most likely due to bad injector. For now it served the purpose. There may be lot more to learn, I’ll do it slowly as need arises. For the price it’s worth it, dealer would have charged $240 for the same diagnostics!
