I bought this 1440p 32” curved 165hz model to replace my 1080p LG game gear 27” that died suddenly after a disappointingly short 3 years.I paid $100 more for the LG and this kTC is superior in every way except one very small detail: the stand only tilts, there’s no height, or rotation adjustment, (neither monitor would swivel), but it does support VESA mounting so you could remedy that for a bit of extra investment. It even came with nice stand-off screws to make sure clearance with VESA mounting wouldn’t be a problem. The stand it comes with isn’t bad though. It’s solid metal, probably aluminum, but also feels just a bit light compared to the screen itself. It’s enough to get the job done though and has rubber anti-skid pads that keep it from moving around.Even though this is a VA type LCD, the colors are great. They’re at least as good as the color performance on my LG monitor which was IPS. Blacks and contrast are superior on the KTC in HDR mode. Ghosting is better than the LG. It’s s a noticeably easier to see details in textures and objects in motion even with FSR3 and frame generation on, and there’s very very little perceptible blur.Pixel density seems sharper to me on the KTC. I expected that since I going from 27” 1080 to 32” 1440, the pixel density would work out to be about the same, but it’s better than I expected. As some others have pointed out: if you’re not using display port you’re missing out on features. Variable Refresh Rate doesn’t work on HDMI (even though it should, I think), and you cannot reach 165hz refresh. Mine was limited to 120 but ymmv. In display port mode, everything works as advertised for me.Also of note, HDR does work fairly well on this panel, at least in the one that I received. I’ve noticed very sharp colors and contrast in HDR mode but one thing you HAVE to do is set HDR to “Auto” in the monitors OSD settings. If you leave HDR set to “off” and try to enable your HDR option in windows or games it totally ruins the colors and contrast. The only down side is that according to windows display options, the advertised peak brightness of the panel 301 nits (oddly specific, I thought), which isn’t HDR10, but I personally still prefer it in HDR over standard. The HDR quality on my LG monitor doesn’t even compare to this one.Keep in mind that my 5-star rating is relative to its price to performance ratio. This screen isn’t going to compete with OLED or maybe even micro-LED, but at this price it seems to me to be as good as it gets. One slight discrepancy in the description is that the listing on Amazon said the screen has a glossy finish, but the finish on mine is just as flat and anti-glare as any other screen I’ve used.

Huge screen, very immersive! I sit at a desk while gaming on PS5 and this works great. In fact I have to sit at least 2 feet away to avoid getting motion sick.No built-in speakers, but you’ll want headphones anyway.I know very little about screens so I’m sure there are good reasons to spend hundreds more on a fancier brand. But to my eye, the image quality here is terrific. 1440p HDR on a 32 inch screen for $200 – hard to beat that value.

Although it’s only been a few days with my KTC monitor, I have to say that, so far, I am incredibly impressed. My prior daily driver was a fairly high end 1080p monitor ( 32″, the same size as this KTC ) and I had grown used to a number of issues such as light bleed and blurring and ghosting in games. This monitor has been a night and day difference.I use an all black background as wallpaper and cannot see any light bleed on the screen. The blacks are deep and full. The colors, vibrant. Text and icons do not appear noticeably pixelated to me. Games appear crisp even in situations with a lot of rapid motion or movement. While I imagine an OLED screen would be even more impressive to me, this monitor is a definite step up from what I am accustomed to and I have no qualms recommending this monitor and brand, especially given the price, to those who place a premium upon value for money and bang for the buck. It’s a very nice, sturdy, well built, highly performative monitor.

I am a gamer, but my needs are relatively simple. If I am not comparing one screen to another side-by-side, subtle differences in brightness, color reproduction, and other monitor attributes are lost on me. I do not need a monitor with speakers (as built-in speakers are usually horrible anyway), I do not need a USB hub, and even multiple inputs are meaningless for me (even though this monitor does have several).Simply stated, after using this monitor, it does everything I need. The picture looks great. I do not have any issues with ghosting, stuttering, or other visual artifacts. The curved screen with the matte finish is nice. The size is also expansive and much better than a smaller monitor for those of us with less-than-perfect vision. The price was also in a good range for the features. I did not use the stand and, instead, used a VESA mount on my desk, which worked like a champ with this monitor. The only thing that may have been nice to see in this monitor is a USB-C/Thunderbolt 4 port for video and return-charging of a connected laptop. Still… For my specific purpose, I have no complaints with this monitor and would purchase it again.

Great monitor, first time owning an hdr monitor. The blacks are deep, picture crisp, and the response time is great even for more competitive titles. 2k seems to be a good middle ground for performance and visual fidelity with current hardware. No complaints at all, fully satisfied. Took all of 5 minutes to set up and get gaming.

The first one I got had damage on box and display. I’m happy to report that the replacement product I received works as intended and worth the extra wait. The refresh rate, dispite some reports, is actually higher than advertised. It may depend on the computer and cord since my old computer only reached 144hz while the new one reaches above the specs. The monitor was simple to set up and the quality of video is as expected. No problems with sound and the size is as specified.

Now, most would think that this monitor was for playing games, but I got this for my mom so she can do her online activities easier and also have multiple documents opened on one scree. She loves it.

I bought this for my daughter and I was very surprised that a 215 dollar monitor (there was a sale) could be this good. At 165hz (the default without overdriving) and if you are running a game that can get 165fps, the motion smoothness is quite good. I’m used to an OLED at 120hz with 120hz BFI (effectively 240hz in terms of motion smoothness/clarity), and while it doesn’t compare to that magic thing, for an LCD/LED monitor it’s one of the best I’ve seen yet. There is some slight ghosting when panning but the detail of moving objects is preserved quite well. I am very impressed.Again, coming from an OLED, the colors look bland to me, but I can’t ding it for that because it’s not an OLED. Compared to other LCD monitors, it looks about mid tier in terms of color vibrancy. Brightness seems good, but we haven’t tried HDR content. My guess, based on how it performs, is that it’s one of those “HRD in name only” monitors. But that’s fine. For 215 bucks. this is a five star product. Even at a higher price, I think it would still deserve five stars, provided you’re not comparing it to OLEDs.Would I buy another KTC? Absolutely. I was hesitant, but now I believe they are very capable of making a quality products. We’ll see how it holds up. I don’t expect any issues, but if we have any, I’ll update the review.

Great product. Highly Suggest if your planning on buying a curved Monitor than look no further than this. This was a gift for my husband and was so nice he also ordered one for me! Love its colors, sharpness great for gaming and also any art printing you may do such as Cricut or Sublimation work as well. Recommended it for many friends and family and you will not be disappointed with your purchase.
