Ummmm… I like it alot. Alot alot. 2 woofers, 2 tweeters, 1 circular passive sub in front, 1 larger oval passive sub in the rear. It’s slim in depth (4″?!), and about as tall as my s22 ultra (6ish”). It’s battery life is accurate, no matter how surprised I am to say it. The bass is there. No doubt. Not just resonating mid ranges…it’s aaccttually bass. The front circular, and oval shaped rear passive subs do really, really well. Don’t need a corner placement, it still produces no matter where it’s placed. But a wall or corner DOES help reflect the deep tones. I sometimes swear there is a powered sub in there. Just a very nice depth to it’s sound. It responds to EQ changes well. Not tinny, not hollow or plastic-like, like many passive types. I am really, really pleased. Not because it was 60 bucks either. I’d have paid 69.99 or 79.99 now that I’ve heard what it does. Strongly recommended item from me. I really hope this is a 2yr plus lifetime item. I’d choose this as a win in overall satisfaction vs. cost. That’s over my go to, JBL, for over a decade. *****update. I see comments about abrupt volume changes, making the speaker either loud or too soft depending. IF YOU OWN ANDROID, I know you can disable absolute volume in developer settings (tap “build number” until it begins the developer menu countdown. You’ll find this in your “about phone”, then “software info” menus. Now in the main settings screen, you’ll have developer options. Go in and search “absolute” and it will take you there. …Flip the switch, turn off bluetooth if its on, turn it back on. Now your phone and device volume will work independently!! :)…4 weeks later, no change in quality.

I recently purchased the IPX7 Waterproof Bluetooth Speaker, and it has far exceeded my expectations. The 40W (60 Peak) power delivers impressive stereo sound with deep bass that fills any space, whether at the pool, beach, or backyard. The 32-hour playtime ensures that the party keeps going all day long without needing a recharge. Its IPX7 waterproof rating means I don’t have to worry about splashes or rain, and the rugged build with a handle makes it incredibly portable and durable. With Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, pairing is seamless and stable. This speaker is a fantastic investment for anyone seeking high-quality sound and reliable performance in any outdoor setting. Highly recommend!

I just received this speaker today, and while I have been putting it through its paces, I probably will be updating this review sometime down the line.I recently purchased a portable guitar amp from Amazon (see separate review) and while I’ve been happy with the amp, the built-in speaker left much to be desired. I purchased the VocBoom as a companion piece to the amp. This is a very powerful, and loud speaker that delivers everything promised. The Bluetooth paired quickly and sounded great playing YouTube music through my phone. I like the fact that it has an aux input jack utilizing the common 3.5mm plug. It is marked as a headphone input, however it works perfectly playing the mentioned guitar amp. The pair work beautifully together. A bonus feature I discovered about the VocBoom speaker is that my electric guitar plays through the aux input. The single drawback I have found so far is that you can not play through Bluetooth and the aux input jack simultaneously. When a plug is inserted into the aux jack it mutes the Bluetooth. Not sure why they did this, but being able to utilize both at the same time would have been a nice feature.I did notice that a couple of other reviewers complained about the VocBoom being ‘too loud’ and not having enough bottom end. Having only played the speaker in my apartment, I’m not sure about the too loud complaint. However, the bass seems more than sufficient, tight, and clean. You won’t rattle windows with it, but it doesn’t distort either. Also, the write-up claims ‘up to 32 hours of playing time’ and the large capacity battery can be ‘used to power other devices’. I’ll be testing battery length in the future. But I did use the VocBoom to power my guitar amp while playing both and it worked well. Another nice feature of the unit. All in all, I am very pleased with the VocBoom so far. Time will be the true test, but I highly recommend it.

Very easy to use. I got home from work, grabbed the Amazon box off of my porch and opened the box. I hit the power button, connected to my iPhone in seconds and was lostning to Pam Tillis within 5 minutes of arriving at home. Music quality is good no distortion, I love the deep blue color, Very robust and sturdy feeling. The bass is adequate and, It’s really loud. I had the volume on my phone turned up all the way and when it connected it was a bit chaotic, so check the volume on your phone before connecting. Probably want half or less. This speaker really made my Friday. I’ll have tunes for my boat this weekend.

Bought this about 3 months ago for a beach trip, use it almost everyday at work. It has an amazing battery and a USB out, I’ll have speaker on and a USB fan plugged into and the battery lasts all day, even charging my phone. It’s as good as a speaker as it is a powerbank. My only complaint is it isn’t quiet enough to sleep too, I had to download an equalizer app on my phone to get the volume super quiet, but most people probably don’t care about that anyway. Overall very happy, I use it alot and is well made

I used to have a small tiki torch looking one that was like 25 bucks. I wanted something with more power, more bass and louder sound. When we hang out in the back yard or go to the pool, I wanted something that was more durable and louder. This sucker is great! It can get wet, it’s easy to lug around. I toss it in our pool bag or use it while washing cars etc.The sound BOOMS! It charges quickly, the Bluetooth connectivity is perfect even for long ranges. The size is great. About the length of my wrist. It’s my favorite new partner! And I can drown out my annoying neighbors with the sound in the yard!

This is probably the coolest thing I’ve bought in the last ten years. I cannot believe how much bass it generates, provided it has wave reinforcement from a wall or corner behind it. It is specifically designed to work this way, as it uses a rear-facing passive radiator. I used to design speakers and I can tell you for certain the company that made this must have employed *very* fancy acoustic modeling software to engineer so much low-end performance into such a small chassis. But there’s more; when I listen to this radio I hear the kind of well-governed punchiness I expect from good bookshelf speakers and a higher-end amplifier. The one on board here is capable of delivering a *ton* of energy to the tiny, high-travel woofers. Anecdote; I was working construction at a large commercial facility and I put this thing at the end of a two-hundred foot corridor and cranked it up to eleven. The result was *deafening* for a long way down the hall. People were stupefied to discover the tsunami of sound emanated from this minuscule box. Absolutely bonkers output from something so tiny. Also doesn’t hurt that it has a high-current USB-A port to charge your phone, and it can be paired with a second unit for stereo output, and it accepts a line-level input… and it’s waterproof… and it floats. Incredible. It’s also *very* tough. Mine rolled out of a pickup cab and cracked down onto concrete from three feet up, then bounced several times down the driveway. It was barely scratched. Plus, I accidentally left it at a work site and three separate people acted in sequence to see that it got back to its heartbroken owner a few weeks later. The company doesn’t even *advertise* that feature! My three little complaints: The base needs to be broader so that it doesn’t roll onto its face or back. That has happened many times and it’s kind of irritating. It looks cooler the way it’s designed, but I would prefer something that can be more reliably planted in place. Second, the volume control is not very granular (using my particular phone at least). It needs to be more precisely adjustable. Finally, the Bluetooth delay from my phone is enough that I can’t really use it as an amp for watching videos (with close-shot human dialog at least). You could probably set it up through the line-level input for that purpose though.Overall, this is a 98/100, about as close to perfect for a consumer device as I’ve ever seen. If the battery lasts even three years it will be one of the best purchases I’ve ever made!

I bought one and thought it was ok. I was hoping it had more bass. Looking at the reviews some have said get another and pair them. So I did. It was better but not extremely impressive. Then I remembered to go into settings on my iPhone 13 Pro Max and set the so called equalizer to bass boost. Absolutely WOW! The bass at low volume is astounding. When paired they truly have a left and right channel. When not paired each one does have a left and right channel. I still have to see how one does by itself with the bass boost on. I did get one green and then the other is navy blue?(actually more dark purple). The green one is the left channel

Battery lasts all day long, as far as I needed it to last, while also keeping my phone charged to max power. This is one loud little speaker. About the size of an old hand held tape player and radio combo, but longer lasting than the old boom-boxes that needed $20 in D-Cell batteries! (Does that show my age?)I would have loved to see a “bass mode”, “normal mode” and “battery saver mode”, which would just be no bass at all. That could have made up for the lack of delicate volume control. It goes from low to mid to high volume, fast. Half volume is already loud, in a small space and full volume is perfect for wide open areas.

Once a year I go to the mountains with a group of animals and party for 3-4 days straight. Lots of multivitamins involved. Anyway this speaker always keeps the vibes alive ! The bass is perfect and volume is loud. Connect two of them together for an experience like none other.I take it on the paddle board and get it wet not issues.I’ve thrown it in the fire and didn’t phase it. I’ve chucked it 10-15 feet into granit rock. Do biggie. Things a straight boss , Dwayne Johnson of speakers…. They rock.UPDATE ==>. Just brought it on a house boat / camping trip . Woke up I. The morning to find out it floated away across the lake my retriever swam out and retreived my Vocboom and it fired right up and continued to slap bangers !!! You need one.
