D. Jepsen –
The last few years I have gone back and forth between Apple and Samsung, but this phone just blows me away. The build quality is crazy good, and the screen is best in class. Voice dictation is nearly flawless and the whole thing is buttery smooth.I was skeptical of Gemini; I was wrong. It is amazing. My only complaint so far is that you cannot remove the search bar on the home screen. But the good thing about Android is that you can install other launchers. Niagara and Nova both do the trick for this.I haven’t tried out the cameras too much yet, but I noticed the DXOMARK scores were the highest of any cell phone except 1 (the Huawei Pura 70 Ultra).Oh, and the modem is really, really fast. Not sure what they did (past Pixels had problems here) but it’s working.Very happy with the purchase.

I’ve had my Pixel 9 Pro XL for a few days now. My previous phone was the 7 Pro. The 9 is snappier. The fingerprint lock is much faster. The AI features are great. I love the look and feel of the phone. It feels much more high end.
Pixel for me –
i’ve owned the first pixel, third, 6th, and now i have the 9 pro xl 512. this phone is great and easy to use.i feel that this takes an android phone and makes it easier to use than an Apple I-phone.
Amazon Customer –
I love Pixel phones because it comes without any custom mods by the manufacturer. This helps with getting the latest android and I get to decide what apps I want. This is yet another masterpiece, got the XL 256 from T-Mobile and they gave me a 512 for the same low price.Google gives me the pro version of Gemini free for a year, I can decide later if I want to keep paying for the subscription based on how much benefit I get from it, but good to know that it is available. I have already tried some of the features like the magic eraser and that works like a charm.

I got mine through Google. It feels so magical and unreal.

I’ve owned every Pixel since the 2, this one is the most refined and works great. All the new AI features are pretty cool. The only thing I miss is all the unique color choices.

The Pixel 9 pro xl is by far the best phone I’ve ever owned, insane battery life, incredibly fast, amazing camera. Would recommend.

I had the iPhone 15 pro Max, technically I still have it, and opted for a Google pixel 8 pro. The phone was overheating and had very poor battery life. So I decided to return it and wait for the Google pixel 9 pro XL. I have thousands of dollars in Apple products. I’m working on my fifth degree, I work full-time, and I’m a father of three children. So, after being an Apple product user for the last 10 years, I’m making my way into the Google platform. I’ve used their products and services over the years and it’s more convenient to have a phone that gets straight to the point with those products. Also, I believe AI is definitely the future and the more you can learn now will help you out. As the technology exponentially advances. Google is ahead of the game in this arena and other companies such as Apple will be just trying to buy up companies and integrate it into their products, or collaborate and integrate. Huge fan of Apple’s business products and they don’t really invest much back into the economy. I don’t care for their hypocritical advertising to be inclusive while exploiting unfair labor practices in other countries when they could be producing products here in America. Regardless, they do make a good product overall, but the AI integration is much more useful for my day-to-day life that Google offers. The Google pixel 9 pro XL fixes two of my major complaints from the previous pro model and that was overheating in battery life. These issues have been addressed in the Google pixel 9 pro XL. I greatly appreciate the informative and comprehensive feedback of AI interactions. It definitely helps me with my work flow out in the field permitting outdoors for local municipalities at the state level. It’s also great for sourcing ideas and creating content for score. The camera is significantly better than that of the iPhone 15 pro Max that I have. Obviously, I’ll be handing that phone off to my wife. Or selling it if she’s not interested. She prefers her iPhone 13 mini. I typically use larger size phones for the screen, real estat, better cameras (usually) and battery life. She could care less. The audio quality and speakers on the phone are excellent and the sound is full/loud. The cameras are awesome! The photos are considerably more accurate in color and the amount of detail provided in pictures. The phone runs smooth and significantly more than powerful and responsive enough for day-to-day life usage scenarios. Benchmarks for gaming and practical phone function/use is a bit silly at this point. It’s not focused on raw performance. That’s not what the phone is designed for. Metaphorically, I don’t need my car to go one-thousand miles per hour when the most I drive it up to is 80MPH and it’ll supposedly go 120MPH. The screen is absolutely amazing and significantly brighter and more usable in outdoor lighting conditions than my iPhone 15 pro Max. I have to come in Google for actually coming out with a really solid product for the first time in a while. I hope they continue to create hardware and software like what the Google pixel 9 pro XL offers in a phone moving forward. I highly recommend it for those who understand ai and how to effectively use it. Also, for those who desire one of the best cameras available.Regarding everyone bashing the phone on pricing. Google has been giving top trade-in values towards the phone as well as gift cards to offset the price. It seems that they are trying to integrate more people into team pixel. That’s the strategy and you get a lot more for your money than other competitors. Regardless, that’s beside the point. The market will dictate the price obviously. But to bash the phone constantly on pricing is a bit annoying. We get it… If it is outside your budget, move on. There’s plenty of other options in the marketplace for you. It doesn’t make it a bad product… Just something not up to your expectations, perceptions, and experiences. I would like a cheaper phone too, next topic.Where phones are just being recycle with new designs every year, the Pixel 9 series offers something new and relevant.
