Today, I had the opportunity to test the Epson Workforce ES-400 II document scanner and I must say that I was pleasantly impressed. This duplex desktop scanner is an excellent tool for any office or workspace that requires quick and accurate document digitization. The initial setup was very simple – I just connected the scanner to my computer via USB and downloaded Epson’s software. The software interface is easy to use and offers a variety of scanning options to suit my needs. What I liked most about the ES-400 II is the speed and quality of the scanning. I was able to scan a stack of multiple-page documents in a matter of minutes, and the end result was crisp and clear. Additionally, the scanner has an automatic orientation correction feature, which made the scanning process even easier.Another useful feature of the ES-400 II is its duplex capability, meaning it can scan both sides of a sheet at the same time. This saves time and effort, especially when working with multi-page documents.Overall, I am very pleased with the Epson Workforce ES-400 II. It is a high-quality scanner that is easy to use and offers excellent scanning results in a short amount of time. I would recommend it without hesitation to anyone looking for an efficient and reliable digitization tool for their office or workspace.

As a teacher, I need to have hard teacher copies (black line masters) but the paper trail year to year is overwhelming! I needed a way to digitalize my files but scanning page by page was a nightmare. This was definitely worth the price! I took back my freedom and scanned 2wks work (80hrs) of files in only an evening. It was worth every penny! Quality was great, when paper gets stuck (if at all) it’s very easy to release, and space is compact. I even scanned un-binded pages and hole punched pages with ease. It also scanned my pages with sticky notes on them without getting stuck in the feeders!!! The program is also amazing and you can scan single or double sided. You can even upload straight to GoogleDrive and save a desktop copy from the program. Easy!

I purchased this a year ago. I bought it because my volunteer accounting was needing more than my portable scanner (another Epson) was doing and my printer scanner was too slow and cumbersome. This scanner impressed me right away when I found how easy scanning was with it. I scan store receipts a lot so this has been great for those, like my portable scanner was. Regular copy paper sized paper is so, so easy. If you have more than one page, put in slot and press button. It scans both sides if you need. This was a big plus for me. I also am working on a project of scanning my Mother’s physical pictures from my time growing up to my PC to share with family via flash drive. This scanner makes that fast and easy. You can save your scans as PDF into any file you want and then retrieve whenever needed. Which I had one of these before I retired. The size is a little bigger than a standard electric calculator. I have a U-shaped workspace at home so I just turn a little, put item that needs scanning in slot and press button, then turn back to monitor and save the file.Epson has been a good manufacturer for me.

Great product, price and quality. Super easy to use. Previously purchased older model and a few years later made additional purchase for our new office location. Would not trade Epson scanners unless discontinued product.

This is not only fast, but it is trouble free. The only time it jammed is when I put a paper in that was partially ripped already, and it was very easy to clear. I scanned my entire file cabinet in just a couple hours. It scans both sides at once – bout 1-2 seconds per page. The PC software is seamless, can save as PDF and automatically upload to cloud and other stuff.. Good image quality. Highly recommend for paperless office.

I bought this in order to scan in thousands of family photos of various sizes. I was able to scan about 2000 pictures in about 5 hours. This thing jams (because everything that has stuff into it will jam), but clearing the jams is easy and doesn’t interrupt the process really. I intend to use this now for my job where I need to scan lots of documents. Also, I am wary about vendor software package for products like this (like printer driver/malware stuff). I was prepared to come up with a janky open source pipeline to do all of my scanning, but the app I downloaded that goes with this scanner was good enough and unobtrusive, so I went with it.

I have used an Epson ES500 scanner at work, so when.my wife suggested we get a good scanner, I already knew what I wanted. The scanner is super easy to set up and it works so well! We have scanned over 2000 images and documents since we got it. The speed and ease of scanning is amazing. Photos and documents fly through. Scanning both sides at the same time is super quick, and the software keeps up with the hardware. I found that if I turned off the automatic double feed detection, I can scan envelopes with no trouble. The size of the scanner is great and much easier to travel with than a flatbed or 3 in one scanner. The more we use and learn about it, the more we like it! We use it for genealogy forms, photos, letters, etc. The “searchable PDF” mode is amazing! It lets you search the PDF for words and lets you copy and paste the scanned document. The OCR interface has worked wonderfully with many different font faces scanned.
