ICUE DOES WORK -At the time of this writing there is only one other review posted and it says ICUE does not work. That it false. To be fair, the mouse did not register for me in ICUE at first, either. But the cause is fairly obvious. They are using an old version of ICUE… from before this mouse even existed. Literally all you need to do is update the software. I attached screenshots proving it shows up and works, along with what software revisions they are on right now. Yeah, that’s it… just update your software. There is a button in the corner. For the mouse itself, it is ALMOST identical to the old wired version. There are a few minor aesthetic downgrades. For some reason they removed the RGB in the mouse wheel, plus the light in front of the side buttons is gone too. Also, it has one less button on the top, behind the mouse wheel. The fit and feel is the same.I would certainly be happier without those random minor downgrades, but they are super minor and the upgrade of FINALLY having a wireless version of this mouse is 100% worth it. I love this mouse and have been on the lookout for a wireless version for years. It is the best MMO mouse, and now finally wireless.

I loved my Logitech MMO mouse deeply. I’ve burned through two of them through the past 18 years playing World of Warcraft and everyday computing. However, Logitech discontinued manufacturing the mouse a while ago, and finding one that isn’t used is very hard to find. I finally had to look for something comparable from another manufacturer. There are very few manufacturers that make a side-button MMO mouse nowadays. The first one I tried was from Red Dragon. While good, it gave me hand fatigue. I still have it, it’s a good mouse, but I decided to keep looking.I picked up the Corsair’s Scimitar because of the good reviews it had received here on Amazon. I can honestly say that reviews are accurate, the good and the meh. Mostly, this is an excellent mouse and I highly recommend it. It fits my hand better and the clicks feel so good. The software looks sharp, but it’s dorky to use. I am not a fan. Yet, I managed to stumble through and make it work. If there’s a roadblock to successfully using the Scimitar mouse, it’s the software. I don’t like it. It’s not intuitive. The mouse itself is excellent. The adjustable sliding side buttons help to find the sweet spot for my thumb to be happy clicking away without fatigue. The click feels GREAT. I honestly fell in love when I made my first clicks. I can’t explain it but it feels great! Buttery yet snappy is the best way I can describe it. After several weeks of raiding with the Scimitar, I can honestly say I love this mouse. No regrets.I’m thrilled to have found a great replacement for my old Logitech MMO mouse. The Scimitar by Corsair is fantastic to play with. It’s snappy and responsive. I have no problems to report other than the cool-looking but non-intuitive software needed to re-program the buttons.

The first impression and if you are used to a small mouse, it will be strange to pick it up and move it, both in size and the arrangement of side buttons, but once you get used to it, which will be in a few hours or days, it will be a very pleasant sensation. The side buttons are fully configurable at your discretion, the RGB lighting is perfect and zoned, and even better with Corsair’s iCue software. The mouse experience will be excellent, even in games that this mouse is not made for. Totally recommended and even more so in games where you need many functions at your fingertips (and thumb).Totally recommended!

This is possibly the best gaming mouse I have owned. The ability to move the side buttons back or forward to find the best placement is very much appreciated. The buttons are well built, the mouse is light enough to make extended use non-strenuous, the lighting features work well, the icue software for customizing button inputs and lighting is easy to use. All in all, a very worthwhile mouse.

Had a Logitech mouse (was on my third) and was having horrible luck with their products. I dont abuse them, they just seem to stop working or develop issues over the time of use. Decided to switch it up to Corsair and won’t be going back anytime soon. The mouse IS bulky, its large so if you have small hands I may not encourage purchasing this one or maybe trying one out before buying if you can. Otherwise the mouse has worked great and has tons of customizability. Solid quality and performs well.

The media could not be loaded. I bought both the Corsair SCIMITAR ELITE Wireless and the SCIMITAR ELITE RGB wired. Both are extremely great mouse, but the wired version is cooler in my opinion. If you watch the video I uploaded, you can see both compared side by side. The wired version has 4 lighting zones (and it’s cheaper), and wireless only has 2 zones (while being more expensive). You don’t need to worry about battery life on wired, although it is pretty good already on the wireless. Overall, the customization, the speed, responsiveness is the best I’ve ever seen. And I have reviewed many gaming and mmo mice. This totally owns my Logitech G604, and Razer.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND it….but save yourself some money, and get the wired version…I’m certain you will be happy. Unless you really need a wireless mouse, then naturally get whatever is best for you. But if you were undecided like me…the same inconvenience of the extra USB is worth it my opinion.Just get a Corsair keyboard and plug in the mouse the extra USB device on the keyboard…problem solved

It fits fine in my hand without accidently hitting side buttons, speaking of they are textured to help tell them apart without looking. It’s fairly easy to use install it’s ICue and you can fine tune all your preferences to your liking. Quality feels nice and overall for it’s price it’s worth it.

I enjoyed the Logitech G600 for a long time, perfect fit for my hand before I began having issues about 2 years in. Since then it’s been difficult to get another G600, and I’ve been trying to go wireless. The Aerox 9 feels too light for me and has issues connecting. This Corsair has been great so far, nice weight to it and the flexibility of finger length due to the sliding button pad is really helpful. This is my new MMO Daily driver.

PROS:ergonomic: I can claw grip it! mouse is not too long, not too tall, not too widelighting: it has 5 zones that you can configure individuallysoftware is great: used to be horrible, they improved it a lot since launch.onboard memory: you can configure your lighting, keybinds, etc. once and never open the software again. up to 3 onboard profiles, very nice!scroll is comfortable, not too stiff and surface doesn’t hurt my finger… looking at you, Logitech g305 lightspeed >:(CONS:keypad light is a bit dim: this is not a big problem long term because I probably won’t even see the buttons when I get used to it but still a bit disappointing that the keys are dimmer than the other lighting zones.weight: a bit on the heavier side but I probably won’t notice after using it for a week or two.coating: it feels and looks amazing right now, but will definitely wear out with time and will not be pretty.side buttons: this might be the only real con I could find in this mouse… the corners are SHARP. my thumb gets caught between the rows and it hurts after doing it a couple times. bear in mind I just got the mouse, maybe I get used to it later, idk———————————-the marketing pictures make it seem like a humongous mouse that would force me to me palm grip it, but it actually isn’t that big. putting it side by side with my Logitech g305 lightspeed is just a bit bigger and heavier. I can claw grip it okay, all side keys accessible thanks to that adjustable keypad. for reference, the length of my hand from tip of middle finger to wrist is 7,5 inches. I think smaller hands might still be able to claw grip it.cable is not too stiff but not soft either. get a bungee or diy one.overall very satisfied with the purchase.
