I love this Nylavee mini speaker. As an average consumer, I needed speakers for my computer and preferred a single unit rather than a set. Despite its mini size, it delivers high volume (as demonstrated in my video). It’s easy to set up—just plug in the 3.5mm cable and the USB cord, and you’re good to go! The speaker has volume buttons for easy adjustment. I’d love to keep it, but unfortunately, I encountered a problem: the speaker had software issues with my computer, so it didn’t work out. Therefore, I recommend testing the speaker first. If you don’t encounter any problems, consider yourself very lucky to have this adorable speaker.

The speaker was easy to set up and use. The sound quality is good. Works very well with our PC. I would recommend it. It is a great value.

This works well for home office use. Sounds a lot better than the laptop speakers and sits in front of me rather than off to the side. For casual music listening it sounds great. I also like the fact that I can connect my phone to it via Bluetooth. It did develop an intermittent tinny sound in the right speaker, but I contacted the company, and I had a brand-new unit 3-4 days later. So, the warranty is solid, gotta love that!

I highly recommend getting this amazing speaker. It was delivered a bit over a month ago and I have loved it. It costs $60 and is well worth its value: very high quality, an excellent attention to detail and a great sound. For that price I have no regrets for buying it.It has amazing sound strength. I find myself having to turn it down after putting it at max because it is so great. It can be heard well close and far. It could be seen as a tad bit echoey though. I haven’t used it with Bluetooth a whole lot since I got it but out of the times I have used it, it sounds great with music. I haven’t tried but according to the manual, it can end and answer calls and change tracks too, and so it is very versatile and the capabilities of Bluetooth is nice. It fits on my desk, looks neat, and is very simple. Even the headphone port in the back of the speaker is pretty nice, just ensure it’s plugged in all the way. No noticeable problems to point out to get your headphones to work properly. Also, from my somewhat limited experience, the customer service is amazing too, just like the speaker.

I bought this for our old LCD TV in the bedroom. With the speakers being in the back of the set, it was actually easier to hear it standing outside the bedroom door. Which means I’m disturbing my partner if he’s across the hall. I wanted something to redirect the sound to the front of the TV and out to the direction of the bed. I didn’t want Bluetooth, and I didn’t want to fight with yet another remote that I’d lose in the bed somewhere. I wanted to set the speaker volume and forget it. And if I could get a little better sound on newer movies with actors mumbling their lines one minute and explosions blasting my eardrums the next, I’d appreciate that! Most of all, I needed cheap.I wasn’t going to install a home theater system in my bedroom. After poking around the Internet, I figured out a soundbar was probably what I wanted, but the ones for TVs were too pricey. Then I found this little soundbar. It’s just about perfect for what I want.I plugged the audio cord into the TV’s headphone jack. When I saw the end of the power cord that plugs into the speaker was USB-C, I swapped it out for a 3 or 4ft cord I had lying around. Plugged it into a USB slot on the power strip, and voila.I’m not sure if it’s a proper soundbar or more like a long computer speaker, but it’s working for me. It’s aiming the TV sound at the bed where I want it. I don’t have to touch the volume buttons again, and I can just use my TV remote. Exactly what I wanted. And the audio does seem to be better, for dialogue especially. I’m currently testing with a recent action movie on the MAX app. I had to turn the volume way up to hear it (of course), but still an improvement. The loud parts are still louder, but I don’t have to keep jacking up the volume to hear what they’re saying or reading the subtitles. I feel like this is more like what the audio experience is SUPPOSED to sound like for newer movies. The one complaint I would have, the short power cord, is really a non-issue. It would be fine for laptop use, which is what the speaker is actually supposed to be for. And I had a longer cord lying around unused. This little $10 speaker is solving so much irritation for me. I’d say this is a fantastic value.

Update: Yesterday I rearranged my desk and plugged this speaker into my monitor instead of my mini PC, which caused this speaker to make a loud, annoying sound every time my computer woke from sleep, which is often during the day.I fixed it by plugging the USB power cable into an unused USB 2.0 port on my laptop. I think the USB port I used previously on my mini PC when the speaker was silent was a 3.1 or 3.2 USB port, but one that is not always on for charging. If you’re having an issue with the annoying sounds, try changing where the USB power cord is plugged in. You should be able to find one in which the speaker does not announce itself every time your computer is turned on or woken up.And Nylavee, please remove these types of sounds in any future release, along with the blue light around the dial. Other than those annoyances, this is a great speaker.——————————–Original review:I love this speaker! It’s a big upgrade compared to the Logitech speakers I had previously been using. The Logitech were only 2.2 watts and the volume was often not loud enough. I don’t have that problem with this Nylavee soundbar speaker. Videos and music sound great, and I usually keep my volume set around 54% now. (I used to have volume set 80-100% or more on my computer when I used the Logitech speakers, and the volume was often still too low to hear some videos.)The other nice thing is that this soundbar is flat and out of the way. It sits behind the little tray that holds my laptop, so I don’t even see it. (The Logitech speakers were often in the way and also were easy to knock over – so I’m glad I no longer have that problem.)The only negative is the blue light that shines from the volume knob. That really should be changed to red, orange or amber colored light. I have my computer in my bedroom, and hate having any blue light at night. I almost sent it back because the blue light stays on all the time. Instead I ended up just placing a cap from a supplement bottle on the knob, since I’ve never used it to adjust the volume since I set it up – I just change the volume on my computer. I used a sticker that was on the soundbar to hold the supplement cap over the volume knob, although I’m sure clear tape would look nicer. (See photo.) That solved the blue light problem, and I’m very glad I kept the speaker. It’s a big upgrade in sound and now I have more space on my desk where I need it!I highly recommend this speaker!

It was easy to set up the speaker using the USB power cord and 3.5mm plug for input of the audio signal. Connecting to a smartphone using Bluetooth was straightforward. The unit is lightweight and takes up little space. Positioned directly above the PC’s monitor, the sound is clear and natural.
