Took this out of the box and the weight surprised me. This thing is metal and has some heft to it. Feels good in the hand, very much like Sennheiser, AKG, EV, Shure etc. Comes with a mic clip and a long mic cable. The mic clip exhibits a little rubbery flex, a good thing, considering how easily cheaper clips break from being too brittle. The cable is female XLR on one end and 1/4″ unbalanced TS on the other. I wish both ends were XLR. Even more, I wish they were right angled XLRs.When are you getting in the right angle and low profile XLR game AMZ?The mic sounds fine. I plan to use it at events where people are making speeches. As a musician, I wouldn’t exclude it from use as a vocal mic, in the absence of the ones I’m familiar with. One negative I notice, is that an Amazon Basics XLR does not ‘click’ on to this mic. While it does lock, I do not hear that confirmatory click I’m used to with my other mics.

Purchased 2 of these for a talent show. They worked well and would buy again for sure.

This is really good mic. I was using it at first unpowered but it was super quiet. When i got louder to compensate it would clip. Looking at the audio form showed me very poor results. I recently got a voice live vocal pedal which provides 48v and the wave forms look normal and the volume levels are great. I can even speak softly or sing softly into it and get a clear clean loud response.

The microphone seem like it made of alloy material come with a long cable and a switch to power on and off the microphone and feels and perform great highly recommend for such a great price

This is a great value microphone for my basic announcer needs on a PA system. Sound quality is clear enough, but because it’s an entry level microphone do not expect super sharp or clear sound as you would from a higher end company like Shure. That said, for the price this will meet most amateur to semi-professional needs in my opinion.

I had brought this microphone to replace the original one that went to my wife’s speaker. It works well with the speaker she have. The cord that connects to the microphone had broken off into it which keeps the microphone from working like it should.

Far exceeded my expectations. I’m a karaoke host who needs a versatile inexpensive microphone. I was expecting okay performance, and was rewarded by surprisingly good sound for the money!I will be purchasing more just to have a spares.
