If you were like me, then you are here because you need a wireless mic. My use case is likely an edge case, and I will provide you the details of my experience with two of these microphones so far:My requirements are that I need to be able to record for about 18 hours a day, roughly continuously. I say “roughly” because it is fine if there is a gap in between the time it takes to swap out microphones. I bought two of these microphones so that I could have one active while the other charged. This system works well, albeit, without any redundancy. That being said, below is my practical experience:I bought one mic in mid January 2023 and another a week or so afterward. These mics have been in constant use, as I described above, since their purchase. That is not hyperbole. On both mics, I have consistently obtained about 4 hours and 15 minutes constant on and recording time. I have sometimes obtained about 4 hours and 45 minutes (this is the max I have ever obtained on a charge). I always get at least 4 hours of charge. The way I do it is that when the mic dies, I remove the receiver and I charge both the receiver and the mic at the same time and then swap in the other mic/receiver pair that I have. I have found that it takes about 75 to 90 minutes to fully charge the mic; and the receiver will charge faster than the mic, taking about 60 minutes to charge. In my experience, it appears that the mic will die before the receiver does. As others have noted, there is no audible or visual indicator on the mic itself that it has died. Your only clue that the mic has died is the silence that ensues – or – the blinking light on the receiver. The mic itself does have a small light on it – and unless you’re totally focused on it, you’ll never really know if it is on or off.The sound quality of the recordings have been good – background noise has been canceled well and the voices are really the main things that comes through – pretty clearly. That being said, these mics ARE quiet. For this particular use case, this is not an issue; although I imagine for most others, this is a major consideration.I use audio software where I can see the sound waves of the mic – so I know for sure it is recording and it is not – and I mention this to also impress upon you that I have paid attention to all of these details. This display sits off to the side of me – and I see it run, constantly. The mics are used as they would be by anyone else: they’re attached to a shirt and someone is talking – in my case – they’re used *a lot*.One last note: One of these mics did finally stop working the other day, hence why I am back to this page on Amazon (and I felt inspired to write a review). The mic that died (and it is the mic, not the receiver) is the one that I bought first. I do not know if this is a harbinger of things to come for the second mic. I suppose I may know that in about a week’s time.In case anyone is interested, the issue with the mic that died occurred like this: one night it was charging, and never appeared to fully charge (the charging light remained on all night). I let the mic fully discharge the next day (which took over 9 hours) – I was not using the mic during this time. Finally the light on the mic died. I charged it up again, and it appeared fine. Once I started using it though, the mic only lasted a couple of minutes and died. It simply does not hold a charge any more.2023-05-06 UPDATE:Both of the mics that I have are still working. This means that one of the very original ones that I purchased back in January is still going, and the one I purchased back at the beginning of March is also still going. Perhaps I drew a bit of a shorter straw on the one mic that died. 🙂

I just got this mic and I’ve been running it through the paces. I had one recording device that picked up a lot of static despite being fairly mid-tier and not cheap. When using this mic instead of the native mic, the static completely disappeared and my voice was picked up perfectly cleanly. The range is also very good. I put the receiver in a metal box and was able to pick up clear speech from downstairs through walls and floor. I’ll try testing it further later. While the instructions that come with the mic are garbage, the hardware itself is easy enough to figure out.Edit: You can use the receiver while charging it, but it doesn’t seem possible to use the mic while charging.

I would have added a picture, but it looks exactly like the picture. So first things first it took me a little while to get everything like synced in with my camera in with my phone. Like it wasn’t immediately working for me, but once I restarted everything and turned the transmitter and the microphone on at the same time everything synced, and everything work well. I will come back with a video showing how far you can take that microphone away from the adapter piece thingy.

Generally the microphone was well constructed, easy to use, and worked well for my use. I used this in connection with a DSLR camera and it captured high quality audio. The only two areas of improvement for me would be it didn’t make sense that the indicator LED was on the front of the mic (I covered it with a small piece of tape to hide it on video) and that the lapel clip was fixed rather than rotating. These weren’t huge issues and for the cost and quality of the product overall wouldn’t impact my review.

Purchased for my wedding and loved it! It worked well with an adapter to plug into our Soundcore Rave Party 2 speaker. Have also used it for a Q & A session live streamed on Facebook and it worked awesome at cancelling out the sound of the busy coffee shop we were in.

I have been using this system with a Canon C300 Cinema camera AND a cell phone on a gimbal and it has proven invaluable. I work in marketing and sometimes the areas I have to film in are industrial settings that can get loud. This little mic has done wonders for those situations. It does a pretty darn good job kicking out unwanted background noise and does a good job keeping vocals in the midrange frequency. It gives me enough latitude to eq and balance out the voice to make it sound great. Get this.
